Driftstar jumped up to the Crab Rock her calico fur shimmering in the sunlight. " Yes?"
" We found a Breezeclan kit. Her name is Fernkit and she is badly injured. Her parents are Rainshadow and her father is in Waterclan. She has two sisters Steamkit and Rabbitkit. And an adopted family kind of who are Kestrelflight, Blackwish, Eaglekit, Starlingkit, and Robinkit." Syrupleaf mewed.
" Riverstream!!!!!" Driftstar yowled. A silver she-cat climbed up to the rock.
" This is a Breezeclan kit. Syrupleaf will tell you everything. She is badly hurt, and her name is Fernkit." Driftstar mewed.
Riverstream widened her eyes and took the sleeping kit from Yellowfur and ran to her den. Syrupleaf followed the medicine cat.
" Now tell me Yellowfur how did she get on the island?"
" She swam and I guess she got tired and rested on a log. There was a fish carcus so she had something to eat before she fell asleep. Syrupleaf and I went to go hunt and then we found Fernkit on a log on shore. We took her and brought her here because her eye was bleeding, her paws were bleeding, and she was in terrible shape." Yellowfur mewed.
" Well, once she is well she must go back to Breezeclan. We don't need another battle. We are still recovering from the battle with Treeclan."
" Yes Driftstar." Yellowfur bowed his head and ran to the medicine cats den.
Driftstar stared at the cats in the medicine cats den. Then trotted back to her den.
